Any law networking events open to apply now?

Are there any networking events open to go to as of this summer, I really need to expand my personal statement and CV. However most of the applications and dead lines are closed are there any available now??!???

No University is interested in any attempt at 'networking' - whatever you think that is.

What Unis do want to see in your PS is evidence that you have 'engaged' with the subject - that you have something interesting to say about what you have read, and that you are thinking beyond just your A levels. Do not just list book titles. Pick a couple of interesting issues and identify what caught your attention - why are they interesting, why is it significant, what didn't you realise, what did this make you think about, etc etc.

Suggestions for extra reading etc - good for Law at all top Unis :

plus ..... relevant free Moocs on FutureLearn and Coursera, and BBC R4 podcasts :BBC Sounds - The Law Show - Available Episodes

Remember that you can get most of these books through local public libraries - ask the librarians for help in finding them - you do not need to buy them.
