Derby University Nursing adults

Is there anyone on here that’s about to complete or completed their 1st year adult nursing at university of Derby ??? And would kindly send me copy of their timetable table ? I know mine might look different but I just want to roughly know what it looks like , when’s the holidays .. iv heard it’s 3 weeks in December and 2 weeks for Easter and 6 weeks in summer but I would appreciate exact dates especially for summer ? Around which month you had placements?

Iv tried emailing the leader but no luck

Hi @Izabela54
I'm not going to Derby for Adult nursing however I am going to a local University. I knew which two days as a first year student nurse I will be at University. Then I googled timetables/rotas and came across a midwife's rota and blog. Which helped me to draft several example timetables over 4 weeks A, B, C and D. For example. Monday and Tuesday University days, skip Wednesday for the first two weeks, I then wrote in Friday and Saturday or Thursday and Saturday and a Friday and a Sunday days or night shifts. This gave me an idea of what to expect come November when placements start for most Universities like Derby, Keele, Staffs etc. My advice is Google rota examples for a student nurse and find a blog and this will help you and to prepare in advance. I have had to do it because of childcare. You will get your nursing rotas two weeks I'm advance before you start placement, so do not worry.
