HSPS at Cambridge A-Levels

Hi,
I’m looking to study human social political sciences at cambridge and I’m going into year 12 in September. Currently I want to study maths, chemistry and politics. Can I still get into HSPS at Cambridge?

Not ideal subjects, no. Cambridge recommends English, history and ancient or modern languages for a strong application - you're doing none of these. However, no subjects are mandated, so you could technically apply with your A levels, but whether or not it would be a particularly competitive application is another matter. See entry requirements here.

I agree with this person! I'm also applying for HSPS but I'm going into Year 13! I personally think that essay based subjects like History and English Literature may offer the analytical skills needed in a humanities degree, but technically there aren't any specific requirements, but a stronger application may mean taking subjects like those— as someone who takes History, English Literature and Psychology
