Liverpool in the Summer: Ella's top recs

Hi everyone,
It's summertime here in the UK (despite todays rain in Liverpool...) and I wanted to share with you what my top tips are for Liverpool in the summer as a uni student.
My favourite place in Liverpool in the summer is Lark Lane. It's a lovely street near Sefton Park full of gift shops, cafes, bars and restaurants. When the sun's out it's absolutely packed which honestly creates a great atmosphere.
I also love how close we are to the beaches. Formby is my favourite, it's a naturally beautiful place and perfect for a summer beach day.
The best thing I have done this summer so far is do the Wirral Way walk! This is a beautiful walk just across the water (accessible by bus or train) with a mixture of sea views and countryside (with handy pubs at the start and end).
My top tips for experiencing Liverpool in the summer are to explore both the nature and the city centre. The docks are a lovely place to go, and Everton Brow next to our Creative Campus has the best view of the whole city! Rain or shine we have a lot going on and summer is the perfect time to explore.
