BA Multimedia Journalism example timetable
Hi,
I am starting my undergraduate BA multimedia journalism course at University of East Anglia in September and was wondering if anyone has an example of their first year timetable at all?
I have asked the UEA but they don’t answer or justsay you will see soon which doesn’t help! Lol.

Totally get where you’re coming from, waiting for the timetable can be frustrating, especially when you’re trying to plan ahead.
Your full timetable probably won’t be released until just before the course starts. That’s because it depends on group allocations and room bookings.
You can expect a mix of lectures, seminars, and practical workshops across 3–4 days a week, with plenty of time set aside for independent work and media projects. Wednesdays are often left free in the afternoon across the uni.

Hi @newbie_2025, congrats on the place! Sorry I just had to check with the team for an explanation as to why you can't access your timetable. Unfortunately, UCAS is shut down at the moment while they process the exam results, so we’re not able to discuss anything about your offer 🥲 You can find out a bit more about it here. There'll be a bit of a wait for your timetable and I remember mine wasn't released until quite late which is slightly annoying, but you have two weeks before classes start anyway to let you settle in. You can always see if any student over at the UEA Ask Us page are taking your/a similar course if that helps as well?
