Urgent help

Hello I am going into my final year as a part time masters student however I am about to interview for a level 2 apprenticeship in customer service. Do you know if I could do this as my masters is funded through SFE and the apprenticeship is funded through the government?

Perhaps defer the masters for a year while you do the apprenticeship as you probably cannot do both.

Honestly if you're already on a masters degree, and presumably have an undergraduate degree, what do you need to do a level 2 apprenticeship in customer service for? You should already have all the skills needed to perform in a customer service role if not in a more advanced role anyway.

It’s because it’s honestly the old job I have been able to get in months. Theyre the only one in my area that have gotten back to me and it’s full time.

If they're getting graduates to do a level 2 apprenticeship instead of just employing them directly, it sounds like they're using the apprenticeship scheme as a way to underpay people (since apprentices earn much less in the first year of the apprenticeship and slightly less thereafter than the national minimum wage as I recall). You may find them a difficult employer as a result...

Have you said you're happy to do the job but don't need to do the apprenticeship and ask if they have contracts available without the apprenticeship attached?

Hey! My friend works for the company and is currently an apprentice and she enjoys it and the staff are lovely. I will ask about contracts without the apprenticeship though!
