Free bus pass

I'm a mature student and was wondering if u can get help with my travel cost to and from uni as I do not drive?

From experience, this will vary from uni to uni.

I went to UWE and if you stayed on campus (pretty much limited to only one year during your study), you were given a bus pass free for the year. However, First Buses did offer a 25% discount if you had a valid .ac.uk email address.

Currently working in Plymouth and if you have a student ID, you are given free transport if you are a med student of some kind (nurse, doctor, PA etc…).

So I would look at your university (you haven’t specified) and see what offers are available for yourself. 🙂

Unlikely to be free but likely to receive a discount of some kind.

Some universities offer schemes that give discounted public transport, so check in with the universities you're interested in and see what they say!

If you let us know here which universities they are, I can see if we have an official rep from that university on site who may be able to answer your question here
