Hi @TrudyGriff25

I've had a look into some travel information for you and this is what I've been able to find...

BCU has launched the 'BCU Boost' scheme to help students with finances and costs. This includes a free West Midlands travel pass for your first year as a student to eligible students. In terms of the eligibility requirements, I am not sure myself, but I can try to find out for you.

There is also some travel and commuting advice available on the BCU website, which I've linked here: https://www.bcu.ac.uk/student-info/welcome/before-you-arrive/travelling. This includes things like where to find student discounts on travel and ways to travel to campus, so this may be helpful too.

There is also a Finance Team at BCU who can offer support and advice on things like this too. Their webpage is here: https://www.bcu.ac.uk/student-info/finance/financial-support/scholarships/accelerate-2025 so it might be worth a look to see what support is available.

I will try to find an answer for you about the travel pass, but let me know if I can help with any more questions. 🙂

Hi @TrudyGriff25

Just an update for you - all the eligibility criteria for the travel pass can be found here: https://www.bcu.ac.uk/student-info/finance/financial-support/scholarships/bcu-travel-pass-scheme

All the best. 🙂
