Would I receive full funding for a new course?

I have completed 2 years of study in a degree and am now considering applying to a new degree. The new degree is a 4 year course.

Would I receive tuition loans to cover the total 4 years?
SFE will be along shortly to answer this, but they’ll need to know the full title of the new course.

Hi the full title of the new course is Pharmacy MPharm (Hons). It is a 4 year course.
The course I studied for 2 years is BSc Biomedical Sciences.

Hi there,

Did you gain any qualification from your previous course? If so, can you please tell us what it was?

Thanks, Graeme

Hi, I have been informed I will receive a diploma of higher education.

I spoke to an advisor from Student Finance England on Monday over the phone and was told that I would not receive a tuition loan for the first year of the degree, but I would receive a tuition loan should I apply for Years 2, 3 and 4.

Hi there. This is correct. You can see how we calculate this here: https://www.gov.uk/guidance/going-back-to-uni-or-repeating-a-year
Thanks, Leah.
