Ucat help

UCAT IS THE BANE OF MY EXISTANCE!!!!!!! I just cant believe all thats standing between me and a med interview is the DAMN UCAT!! Its genuinely getting me so down because I feel so useless. When I do untimed questions, its great I do so well but as soon as I start timed practice I feel so under pressure and I just can't do it. If anyone has any words of advice/tips/anything to help, I would really appreciate it!

Update: I'm slowly improving DM and QR but VR is still so hard. I cant seem to get the timing right and if I focus too much on the timing then my accuracy is really bad. I keep getting around 50% or less when doing VR timed :frown:

Hi there. Good job on the progress to date. I guess it's slow process but we just need to work at it consistently. I'm also in the same boat. For me, QR is where I'm not making the process as fast as I would like.
For VR, my score has plateaued at around 630 which I'm happy with tbh. My advice to you would be to take a bit longer on passages which you find easier to read and get your accuracy higher on those ones, and instead sacrifice timing on complicated texts which you may end up getting wrong anyway even if you spend longer on those. It's a balance of accuracy v speed.
Hope this helps. We're all in this together!!

Thank you so much for the advice, I am going to give that a try, and as for QR it just takes a lot of practice but you will see improvement. Good luck on your UCAT, you will smash it

Update: I did my first medify mock and got 1720 B2. My test is in exactly 31 days, I think I'm cooked🥲

Update: My UCAT prep has been incredibly slow due to starting Uni and I have no idea how to balance the two! I did a mock a week ago (and haven't done any revision since then) and got 1800 B2 so barely any improvement. Anyway, really struggling to balance uni and ucat..
