Underbed storage - check if you bed looks like you can get storage underneath. If you can, I would recommend getting a squishy fabric storage bag. This will help you push it under the bed if for example the gap is not too big.
•
toiletries basket - this will be great to take into the shared bathroom you may have so you do not have to leave things in there if shared with multiple people for example.
•
hanger extenders - these can be little hooks that allow you to hang multiple clothes on a single hanger, saving space in smaller wardrobes.
•
extension lead - these are great if your plug sockets end up in places that aren't convenient, like behind the bed or desk etc. This was a lifesaver when i moved into my halls...it meant i could charge my phone, laptop and speaker all at the same time!😄

Not a purchase but bring posters, photos and decorations for your room. It is so nice to make your halls room your own. Although make sure to check if your accommodation has any regulations on what you can and can't bring.
•
Command strips - these are great for hanging pictures and posters on the wall without any damage👍️
•
Wipe, cleaning spray and cloths - accidents happen! and this is completely okay, but I recommend having some of these supplies to keep your desk clean and tidy.
•
Mattress protector and topper - trust me, this ensures the bed is clean and comfortable 🙂
•
Small bin! - You do not want to be walking to the kitchen every time you have a snack mid study session, this is so useful to ensure your room stays organised too!
•
Laundry basket - its great to get one with handles too so its easy to take down to the washing machines quickly.
