Why have we made these threads?
We would like to start by thanking Notnek, who has consistently created the "Predict the Edexcel Maths grade boundaries" threads on TSR over many years. This year's threads for other subjects are inspired by his work. His dedication and contribution to the TSR community, especially the Mathematics Forum, has helped countless students feel more informed and supported in the lead-up to Results Day. We hope to continue what Notnek started by expanding it across more subjects, helping even more students feel supported.

While these threads are fun, they also serve an important purpose. Every year, countless students and teachers on TSR and on social media confidently post their "predictions" and every year they're way off.
As Notnek once put it "if you want grade boundary predictions that are as accurate as the ones going around online then you may as well use a random number generator instead"

As Results Day approaches, it's normal to feel a mix of nerves and uncertainty. But try not to let speculation, yours or anyone else's, take up too much headspace. Your grades do not define your worth and no prediction can capture the full story of your effort, progress or potential.
