Can I change my course to a joint degree?

Hi all

I got accepted to Glasgow Uni today to study English Lit. However, I would really like to study politics. I had hoped to take politics as an elective, but I can't as it's not in the College of Arts.

Is there anyway I can make my degree a joint degree either in second semester or second year or something to include politics? Is there any other option?

Thanks

This is a question best directed at Glasgow's admissions team. It does no harm to ask them the question, and won't jeopardise your English Literature place.
