Advanced learner loan
Could I have some advice please?
I have already had student finance for a degree but wondered if I’m eligible for an advanced learner loan for a full time 2 year foundation degree in person centred counselling and psychotherapy at college. I wouldn’t be able to start the degree until September 2026 as I still need to do the L3 course.

Hi there,
We normally don't award second degree funding unless the course is one of our exception courses. What course and university are you thinking of studying? Would the course be full time or part time? How long is the course?
