Do i have to redo the whole module?

I go to UON and they’ve previously told me I have to resit a module I never failed.
Wih this other module it’s an essay and quiz to make up a total mark. Apparently I got a 39 however I have no access to the quiz marks and my essay got a 55. Do you think it’s likely I’d have to redo both because I’m assuming if it’s accurate I should only need to do the quiz as I passed the essay or do I have to do both again because I failed the module?

Hi @TTAva2000

I think the best people to answer this will be your lecturers/tutors if you're able to contact them. I'm sure they will be able to guide you on what you will need to complete as part of retaking the module.

I have known people in the past at my uni who have only had to work on certain things when resubmitting, but this may differ per university and per course, so definitely reach out to your lecturers to get the most accurate information.

Hope this helps. 🙂

Hey @TTAva2000 👋

I'm sorry to hear about this.

Each university will vary when it comes to resitting modules. The best thing you can do is reach out to your lecturer/module leader and see if they can provide more specific information about the module resit, and you could even ask if they have any feedback they can share from your previous submissions so that you know where to focus your efforts.

Best of look with your resit, do let us know if we can provide any further advice!
