LNAT Help

Hi,

I'm going into my last year of high school (Scottish Student) after the summer and we have recently received our Higher exam results. I got the results I needed but now need to start preparing for the LNAT as I am planning to apply to the University of Glasgow to study Scots Law and they require it.

That being said, I am completely lost. Still feeling burnt out from exams if I'm being honest and the thought of doing another important exam if giving me the absolute fear!

Would really appreciate any advice from anyone who has taken it previously and/or is planning on taking a similar route.

My main questions would be:
- How to prepare for the LNAT?
- Helpful resources for reading
- When is the best time to book it for? (I have prelims/mock exams in January so perhaps getting it done before is better?)
- Are the paid courses really worth it?
- How hard is it compared to other exams?

I personally feel as though I am capable of doing well when I am very well-prepared but am aware the LNAT uses a lot of critical thinking etc.

Apologies for the ramble (can you tell I'm stressed aha) and any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance

hey, so i havent sat my lnat yet either(abt to start my last year of school), but i would say:

practice answering the questions and essays as much as you can (guidebooks, LNAT has some official ones, lnat ninja, law mind)

reading a quality newspaper on a regular basis is meant to be useful

book it now. i dont know what availability is like near you but people near me were struggling to book because they overslept on august 1st. if glasgow is your only uni that requires it, check when your application is due for and then choose. i would personally prefer to get it out of the way before mocks

not sure about your other two questions, sorry!

hope this helps and good luck!!
