Central Saint Martins is known for its creative process and experimental approach, and especially renowned for its Fashion programme.
1. Are there any key differences and similarities one would highlight about its BA and MA Fashion Design programmes?
2. I've vaguely heard about the 'DIY' approach. I understand and like the importance of being independent and creative thinkers. However, I'd like to ask, what do people think about the quality of teaching and technical skills at CSM? Do students get technically proficient (sewing, construction, draping, pattern cutting, CAD illustration skills, tech packs) through the curriculum or do they mostly self learn so that they can attain internships and jobs at fashion houses or know at least key technical aspects to start their own label?
Cheers.
