note taking for hsps undergrad at cambridge

was hoping to hear from other hsps students at cambridge as im unsure if i should stick to note taking online on one note, move elsewhere to another thing online like notion or move to old school papers again? i have been considering using online notes and then writing key stuff in a journal but that just feels like it could go wrong very easily idk.

i did a uni course elsewhere previously so im used to note taking online on onenote but felt i was often writing notes and not really looking over them often. i also found that when revising i preferred to make mind maps on paper as it felt more engaging. i have thought about going analogue but im someone who would deffo lose papers and take a while to handwrite which i dont have to bother with when typing and having everything stored online. theres lots of convenience to being able to google stuff in a lecture and move around my notes which i like, but as i said i never really went back to my notes. when it came to final exams i ended up just using lecture slides. the inbetween i thought of was geting a touch screen laptop (will be getting an upgrade anyway) which i can handwrite on but then store online but that doesn't stop the issue of fast talking vs slow writing

maybe this isn't a hsps specific question but thought id direct it to the hsps-ers as thats what ill be doing
I'd use what you're familiar with

I feel like making mind maps for revision as a fresh thing can be a useful process though, because you have to go back over your notes, read them and work out what is actually important so it goes in a bit better!
