I love linguistics, ever since I learnt about 'etymology' in year 7. languages is something I'm very passionate about, coming from a family of polyglots and finding it so fascinating.
•
I love history, especially history surrounding the middle east, as well as ancient history, classical antiquity, british history, and the 19th century onwards. this ties into my interest in geopolitics.
•
physics - I could go on about this for hours so I'm going to stop myself here.
•
I enjoy learning about philosophy too, neuroscience, economics, the history of computers and computer science, psychology, whatever else.
•
my adorable pet canaries
•
what I read reflects the sprawling nature of my interests, but when I buy a new book I usually look at the sci-fi, science, history, philosophy, and classic sections first.

hoovered + tidied my room
•
finally completed all my bridging materials
(it was so much easier than I thought it would be!!)
I was hoping to do more today and to at least get some violin practise in, but I'm not going to let that demotivate me. I think I'll start with my goals in the morning tomorrow so that I can update along the way and make a bigger reality out of actually doing them.ideas
