Hi there, is this her first year of funding and are you married or were you just living together? Thanks, Jason

Hi there,
If separated but still living with your ex partner the student can still be classed as separated, this will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis however. We will need the standard evidence to confirm separation. It would also be helpful for you to send a covering letter explaining the circumstances with any supporting evidence. A letter from yourself will help assessors to understand the situation. This would also be beneficial if the student is apply for any additional grants also, as the child is under your name, as advised.

Thanks, Stephen.
