University of Staffordshire Results Day Clearing thread – ask Illustration grad Tee!

Hi everyone,

Results Day is this week, and we’re here to support you! On the day, Tee who’s just graduated in Illustration from University of Staffordshire will be on hand to answer any questions you’ve got about Clearing.

She’s been through Clearing herself, so she knows exactly what it’s like. If you've got questions about Clearing, University of Staffordshire or uni life in general, drop your questions below 👇

Here's a bit of background - Tee told BBC Radio West Midlands about her experience.

“I spoke to my college lecturer and she told me that Clearing was a thing at uni. I never knew what Clearing was, it had never been explained to me. And then I went on and looked at unis, and I found the University of Staffordshire, which is in Stoke-on-Trent.

“I’d literally applied for clearing on the day it opened and literally I think within about 20 minutes I’d been offered a place.”

Hello Tee,

Not necessarily about clearing but just to get the ball rolling - would you rather be an Ewok or a Hobbit?

Well there are 3 Hobbit films, followed by 3 Lord of the Rings films which are all epic.
Then the Ewoks appear in the Star Wars universe, but I believe only appear in Episode 6: Return of the Jedi (star wars fans are welcome to correct me here). The first star wars films were episode 4, 5 and 6. Then in the 90s we had the prequals (1, 2 and 3) and more recently we've seen the sequels (episodes 7, 8 and 9).

Well that's my weekend sorted (if that's even enough time🤣)
I will actually have a look though - I've been told the Hobbit is good, so I can't not now👀

Wish me luck...👀
