Help

I’m due to get either ABC or AAC in my exams, how likely am I to get into a good Russell group for finance / economics / law in clearing as I want to do corporate law or corporate finance one day. I’d really appreciate if anyone can share some info on how likely I am to get in. Thank you

Have you looked up specific courses in Clearing to check what they ask for?

Like everyone else, you will just have to wait for Results Day to see what available and what they require. Many Unis will update their websites on Wednesday evening so check then.

Just be aware that 'top Unis' are very unlikely to need to be in Clearing for competitive subjects like Econ and Law. I'd suggest that you look at Unis like Liverpool, Reading and Sussex - good for those subjects but less competitive.

Hello @Eesank7

When it comes to entry requirements for clearing it really depends on many factors and can change constantly throughout the day. I would advise that you keep your options open and don't restrict yourself to Russell Group universities.

Not only are Russell Group universities not all as good as they make out to be, but they will likely have limited clearing places. You should get your priorities right depending on whether you want to go to a "top university" or start university this year.

I hope this helps. If you have any further questions or anything at all please do let me know.
