Advanced learner loans

I applied for the Advanced Learner Loan on the 22nd July. I had to send off my birth certificate as I do not have a passport. I sent it off just a few days after sending the application and I've just received an e-mail from SFE saying they're still waiting for my evidence to be sent. Is this just automated or they genuinely still don't have it? If they don't, I have nothing else I could send because I sent off the only piece of evidence I have possible. What should I do? Wait longer due to timestamps or call up SFE? I don't know what to do because I go to enrol on the 21st August for my course properly and I need this sorted by the time my course starts.

We don't deal with Advanced Learner Loan on this platform. You would need to contact the team on 0300 100 0619 Monday to Friday, 8am to 7pm.
