Hi I’m I just completed year 12 at 19 dining a level 3 course I’m wondering if it’s possible for me to apply for uni with a foundation year as I don’t want to repeat again

If you are a UK student, you cannot do a UK Foundation course without completing Level 3 qualifications.

Hello @Hshdbdhjdbdxjc

It is very unlikely that you will be able to start university with a foundation year, having just finished the first year of A Levels or an equivalent level 3 course. This is because the entry requirements for universities require at least three full A Levels or an equivalent level 3 course, meaning you have completed both years of study. However, if you did not want to continue into the second year of your A Levels or an equivalent level 3 course and still wanted to go to university, you could enquire about the Open University as unlike other universities, they do not usually have strict entry requirements.

I hope this helps. If you have any further questions, please do let me know.
