i’m applying to liverpool through clearing but i don’t know if it’s better to ring or do the online form. I assume it’ll be busy so i’ll be on hold for ages but equally i don’t want to apply online and wait ages for a reply on if i got in

Liverpool does not have a publically facing phone line for clearing. You'll need to register for a Liverpool-specific clearing account: https://uk-clearing.liverpool.ac.uk/register
They will email you if you meet the requirements.
