Thinking about Law through Clearing? Some quick tips

No matter what your results are, be proud of yourself, you have worked hard and whatever happens tomorrow, there will be options and opportunities for you out there. Whether that’s your first choice, another university through Clearing, or a completely different path you hadn’t considered before.

If you are considering clearing for law here are some top tips from a law student

1) Be prepared before you get your results
◾️ Have your UCAS number, personal details, and grades ready.
◾️ Make a list of universities you are interested in, with their Clearing phone numbers.

2) Act fast, but don’t panic
◾️Places can go quickly, so start calling as soon as you have your results.
◾️At the same time, take a moment to make sure the course and uni are right for you.

3)Ask smart questions
◾️What optional modules do they offer later on?
◾️Do they have a law clinic , mooting competitions, or have volunteering opportunities?

4)Don’t forget about career support
◾️What career support does the law school have for internships, mini-pupillages, or vacation schemes?
