The Student Room Group

i wanted to try and use this app

i’m currently in junior high, and i wanted to use this app to try and get advice (?) + school stuff from other students, but i didn’t know that most/all the users here are either in a university already, or still studying to enroll in one. (i apologize if i have bad grammar.)

can anyone suggest any apps that can help
me study? i have an exam next week, and i desperately need to study. knowunity keeps giving me answers unrelated to the topic i want to study, turbo learn is quite confusing for me to use, and gizmo keeps malfunctioning on me. i’m also studying in a science high school.

Sounds overcomplicated

Sit down. Turn off the computer. And put pen to paper working from your notes (flash cards, summary sheets, practice answers, anything) - just stop procrastinating

Hi!
Are there any particular subjects you need to study? TSR has lots of subject-specific forums that you might find useful - I've added the forum list link below. If you're after study stuff when I was at college and uni I found sites like Quizlet, Knowt and Anki quite helpful for flashcards, and making posters for each topic on A4 paper. Hope this helps :hugs:

Your phone might have a timer that you can use for the Pomodoro study technique. It's studying for 25 minutes, taking a 5 minute rest, studying again, and so on... 😊

If you need to memorize...
I heard that people remember what they study before bed. I would do this to see if it works for me. Spaced repetition is another memorization technique. 😊
