Gowns for PhD Students at Cambridge

I’ve just graduated with a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) from Cambridge. I’m 28 years old and will be starting my PhD programme there soon.

I’m confused about which gown I’m required to wear. Should I get the MPhil gown (with buttons on the sleeves) or the MA gown (without buttons)?

Google it. Queens has a website/flow chart explaining it

There's so little difference between the MA and MPhil gown, that I doubt anyone will notice or care. But from memory it would be the MPhil gown.
