Coursework mark changed

I was internally given 57/60 in coursework, but I ended up with 36/72. My sixth form said remarking coursework is hard and the last time they tried and sent in evidence, the exam board did not reply to confirm whether the marks would be changed.

What can I do?

Unfortunately it has to go through the school, you need to speak to them. They can do a review of coursework (it is called a review of moderation) - I would ask your school why one score is out of 60 and the other is out of 72? :beard:

Feels a little odd to me.

Were you applying to university for this year? :holmes:

They multiply their grade by 1.2. My school told me the entire department would have to agree, and the last time they did this, the exam board ignored them. Somehow, I got into university.

As the advice given above, contact your school to chat further about your scores

Okay, so big relief about the university, so in terms of your future this wouldn't be having a huge impact - not great for any of your coursemates :erm: So you were expecting around 68/72 as the multiplied score?

The exam board can't "ignore" the request to review the marks, they can disagree though - and they are within their right to do that.
