Can I be a lawyer with ACC at A Level?

I studied Art, Spanish, and English Literature. I got accepted into my firm which is a Russell group although I needed ABB but achieved ACC. The original offer was AAA but I got a contextual offer. The A I achieved was in Art and the Cs in Spanish and English. I was originally predicted AAA but did not achieve this. I want to be a solicitor after I graduate university, will my options be limited assuming I do very well in uni? The degree I’m doing is Law with Spanish, just worried that I may be held back career wise due to my A level grades.

Generally your degree will supersede all your previous education - It becomes increasingly unlikely anyone will ask about your A-levels again. Congratulations on getting into university- you have a reason to celebrate today  Focus on doing as well as you can at uni, and your A-levels probably won't matter again.

(Obligatory - I am not a laywer nor particularly familiar with law careers)

Hi there!

Employers tend to focus on your highest level of education - meaning if you have a degree and do well, and have a good CV (from work experience, etc. during your degree), your A-Levels likely won't even be looked at most of the time!

Hopefully this reassures you a little, congratulations on being accepted into your firm! Try and enjoy results day, getting your A-Levels is something to be really proud of!
