Congratulations on getting into uni! It's completely normal to feel unsure about uni regardless of what age you start. But, everyone at City is incredibly friendly! I have met some lovely people during my time at uni and some of them became my friends as well. My biggest advice is to not shy away from socialising whether that's in your lectures/seminars, uni events, society events and more (I know it can be nerve wracking at first). I've met people who were 1 or 2 years older than me at society events and we all managed to get along really well so age doesn't really matter if you can have good conversations with other people. I hope this has reassured you in some way!
