Clearing verbal acceptance issue

I called this morning for clearing and they verbally accepted me and gave me an offer, they said I should receive an email soon, however it’s been almost 5 hours since 8:30 am.
I’m worried as on the ucas website adding clearing choice, using university name, the course isn’t there.
What do I do?

Hello,

In this case I'd send their clearing team a quick email just to ensure that your application is being processed. There's a few things that can trip up at our end like possibly recording the wrong email or name, so it's good to make sure that your application is being processed. You could also ring them back and a member of their team will be able to make sure your application process is going smoothly and let you know what the potential delays might be.

It's a very busy day so it's possible their team just haven't got round to you yet, but it's always good to double check!
Best of luck,

By all means follow up but admissions teams at every university are dealing with thousands of calls today. "Soon" probably means a few days, try not to stress.
Hello,

As suggested drop them an email/call just to check its being processed. However today the clearing teams will be absolutely swamped with work and so may just haven't got to it yet!

Best wishes

Hello @PokiTofu

I would advise contacting the uni's admission office asap!

If you're looking for accommodation, we may be able to help!

We have almost 60 properties in 21 cities across the UK, here's the link to find out more: Clearing | Clearing Accommodation | Student Roost .

We offer a range of accommodation options, including both en-suite and studio rooms depending on your preference. All rooms come with everything included such as all-bills, high speed Wi-Fi, contents insurance, and more. Plus, there’s no deposit required!

All of our properties have 24/7 on-site team members, so there’s always someone available to support. Depending on the location, you’ll also find great facilities like 24 hour gyms, study spaces, and social areas to help students settle in and make new friends.

For a limited time we also have a range of cashback offers plus incentives, depending on the property you choose.

If you have any questions or would like help with the booking process, feel free to ask. We’re happy to help.

Best Wishes,
