misconduct

I was accused of misconduct which i stated i had not done , i was told my dissertation was cancelled and i received a 0 and re-sit, this decision was in july ending and i was told that they were waiting for final approval. This afternoon, i received a grade for the dissertation which was 55/100 with a feed back.

Sorry to hear about your situation, this sounds really confusing and stressful.
I just wanted to say that most universities offer an advice service, if not through your personal tutor in your department but often through the Student's Union. This could be a useful place to go if you are unsure what to do for your next steps.
I think there may be some context etc missing from your post? Was there no explanation for the 55/100 mark? It could be that you have a mark but still a 0 result on your transcript?
Unsure if you're the right person to tag, but @artful_lounger may be able to share some words of wisdom here!

I would start by contacting your personal tutor and student union to get more information if you are uncertain.
You need to clarify if the 55 is the final mark that will be reflected in your grade average, or the mark it would receive if not for the allegations which led to you getting a zero overall.
Did you submit an appeal after you received the notification you were accused of misconduct and would receive zero in it?

i was given the 0 for misconduct which was given to me in july and was told that it was going to a board for final approval. so today, i received a grade of 55/100 with a full on feedback addressing certain issues with the misconduct which was referencing and stated my overall for dissertation was 55/100

As I said I would advise to contact your personal tutor and student union as soon as possible.
It might be after their investigation they deemed the misconduct did not amount to a level necessitating the mark to be made zero but may have been given a smaller penalty to the mark instead.
But your personal tutor will be able to give more information about the outcome if you're unclear, and your student union can advise you on this as well.
