Durham college and accom confirmation

Any updates with you guys? Durham was my firm, my preliminary allocation was St Johns but I've not had confirmation yet... congratulations on your offers though!!

What are the chances of me getting allocated St. John’s as my college I’m Christian and it would be the best fit for me but I went through clearing so not sure I’ll get it…

Has anyone else heard nothing from Durham? I am supposed to be St Chads, but I am concerned something has gone wrong now

I think about 10% of students are still waiting, so you're not alone. Apparently most will hear tomorrow but they might have to sort some out next week. Hang on in there!

My son received his college notification shortly after results day, but didn't receive a licence agreement. We chased yesterday and today have received the licence which has to be signed and returned by Monday otherwise he loses the room.
Included was a condition that he vacates the room for one week during the easter break, which will be a massive inconvenience. Additionally, they haven't reduced the cost from a 39 to 38 week contract, which is effectively what they have imposed on him🤬

I just don’t understand why I would be in the last 10% having Durham as my firm and confirming on results day. It’s been 3 weeks

You are in the exact same position as me, and it is really frustrating 😭, I have called and sent so many emails but apparently we just have to wait till tomorrow

When we spoke to the billing department yesterday, they said we should have received the licence shortly after college confirmation as if you don't accept they reallocate.
On offer holders day my wife was told by accommodation that you have 2 weeks to accept and pay your £200 advance payment. The fact that we have had to chase, and only have until Monday to accept and pay indicates there has been an admin breakdown.

I have a feeling that a few people have just been skipped over accidentally by the admissions and that’s why it’s taking so long, if you haven’t been notified that you’re being reallocated, theoretically you won’t be reallocated. I wish all of you the best for today and hoping we all hear 🌟

It’s going to be really disappointing and unfair if we are re-allocated Colleges knowing that we firmed Durham and accepted straight away 😢
