Medicine extracurriculars to stand out.
Im starting year 12 soon and i want to know what some extracurriculars people have done to really stand out on there application. I really want to have something to stand out but as of right now dont have anything im just doing the basic work experince etc.

No one stands out through any extracurricular. There isn't some magic one that will get you into med school.
For extracurriculars, pick up volunteering at a care home/hospice/St. Andrews or equivalent. Also see if you can get a job, nothing too serious, just a part time one that will show uni's you are trustworthy enough to be paid.
What will make you stand out is firstly, a high ucat, and secondly, how you talk about your experiences at interview, so these should be your main goals, instead of chasing extracurriculars.
