This might be a silly question, but will the sixth form care that I haven’t done the summer tasks? I didn’t get them because I wasn’t at the opening days — I was away on holiday. I’ve chosen Chemistry, Biology, and Psychology.

Hey @Snailsq,

You'll be fine. You might have to complete them in the first week or so of sixth form, but your teachers should be understanding of the situation if you genuinely didn't receive the tasks. You likely won't be the only one who hasn't done them! 🙃

Hey! I wouldn't worry too much, not everyone might have attended the open day. If the teacher asks just apologise (they might not need you to do it but if they do you can just catch up). One thing you could do is email the college to see what exam boards you're going to be doing, but there could be a chance the college might be closed until September.

Because theres still time before the start of college, you should check on the website or your emails, because usually they upload it anyway

I'm going into year 13 but I never did the summer tasks even though I was at the open days. They're meant to just give you an idea of what's expected of you, but I don't believe they're mandatory. If they get mentioned when you go back, just explain your situation and catch up if necessary!!
