Top Grades at A level

I'm going into yr12 in a few weeks. Im taking bio,chem, and geography. what are some things i should do to ensure i get top grades come yr13?
the course i want to apply for is highly competitive so thats why.

Start making revision resources and review them continually, right from day one!
For Biology id recommend flashcards, visual notes, matching activities, quizzes/games like blooket and kahoot, exam style questions and blurting.
Happy to answer questions on biology!

My daughter practised the essay question with essay plans and writing paragraphs for different topics that could come up and getting feedback on these (not writing whole essays, except a couple of times).

Hi my reccomend action on a whole irregardless of examboard for bio and chem is..
1. Understand the spec and content required using methods of active learning e.g blurting, flashcards, mind maps etc
2. Practice exam question weekly for different topics. The key way is how you approach the question and mark it! So that means actually answering the question per following the mark scheme and identifying why and how you got answer wrong and the way the mark scheme has such an answer.
3. Do spaced repetition

I do ocr a for both if it is relevant
