Riego street accommodation-

So I was allocated to Riego street accommodation and everything I’ve seen online about it are like horror stories 😭 I’m wondering if anyone who’s maybe had it before could say what their experience was like, any warnings/tips?? is there anything about the accom thats good other than the location?
I’m rlly freaking out now because its more expensive than any of the accom preferences I chose and apparently just sucks and I haven’t even arrived yet.

Thank you so much 🙏

My daughter moved into Reigo. She said it’s different than what she is accustomed to from her last university, (she had her own room with her private bathroom)but it’s ok. Reigo residents have their own private room but no private bath. If you wind up in a five person flat you will have two shared bath. The four person flat will have one bath to share. She said she will tough it out for the first year then move out for the second. One of her roommates in her flat reported she had black mold in her room so she moved out. Nothing too bad that the Clorox can’t take care of. The surrounding area isn’t bad. Walkable to many stores and restaurants. It’s actually not too far from the hotel that we, her parents stay at when we come to visit. I suppose it’s all what you make of it. Try not to worry about it. My daughter and one of her friends both live there and they’re fine with it.

Daughter also got Riego St and was the most expensive of her choices, she seems fine with it I am pretty gutted as it's an additional £1500 a year to fund for what looks like a concrete block : (
