Resitting in 2026

Hi all,
I got my a level results yesterday and due to extenuating circumstances i sadly got CDE. I’m going to resit my level obviously as I was originally predicted ABB. However I am aiming for higher predicted grades so I can apply to better universities however I was wondering would they reject me due to my achieved grades from this year even if i’m predicted around AAA?

Try to explain in your application what happened the first time. You can put a positive spin on the situation and show your hard work, determination, and persistence. As long as you can do that, it's only going to make your application look more human and therefore likely to be more memorable as well.
Good luck!

Your referee should explain your extenuating circumstances.
