History and Politics at Oxford and Cambridge?
Hi! I'm applying this October and struggling to decide between Cambridge and Oxford HisPol, and was hoping for some advice. My historical interests are mostly medieval, and I was wondering if either Cambridge or Oxford prefer the historical interests of HisPol applicants to be modern-oriented, to better align with the politics side? It would be really appreciated if any current students could let me know. Thank you!

Go to their Open Days, sign up for both course presentations and then think carefully about what actually interests you - both the History and the Politics syllabus.
