My firm, King's College has still not made a decision

My firm is King's College for M.Sci Artificial Intelligence. My offer was A*A*A but I achieved A*AA, falling short by 1 grade. I messaged them in their portal, attaching copy of all my results and persuading them to reconsider. But there has been no response. I have tried giving them a call but it is all automated; the system just puts me on hold indefinitely. My insurance, Royal Holloway, has accepted me but they are also waiting for my firm to make a decision. Is anyone else facing something like this right now or has in the past? Has anyone been accepted into King's College for a Computer Science course despite missing it by 1 grade?

Firstly, wow! Congratulations on your wonderful results - you should be so proud of yourself!

I’m really sorry you’re going through this. It’s good that your insurance at Royal Holloway has accepted you, so you have that option secured.

My advice would be to keep checking the portal regularly and trying to contact King's College (maybe try emailing them or contacting them on social media if you're having no luck with phone calls), and stay in touch with Royal Holloway.

If you haven't received a decision from them yet, keep calling them. They should be more free today as there are less students on clearing so as soon as you can give them a call. Of you cant you could also email their admissions team explaining the situation to them and see what they saw when they get back to you. Wish you the best of luck, Results Day was a real hassle but we made it through so be proud of yourself no matter what!

I called them. They just said that the Admissions team is facing a high volume of requests and that a lot of students are facing this. They also said they will get back me to as quickly as possible. I don't know what to expect.
