I was given an offer through clearing which I accepted an hour after the interview was completed. I still haven’t received confirmation from the uni. They have told me ucas have to update their system. How long does it take ucas to update its info?

A verbal offer is just as good as a written one so I wouldn’t be concerned about losing your place if I were you. Make sure your UCAS application is in clearing and that you’ve added the course to your clearing choices. that might be what is delaying your offer. Different universities take different amounts of time to reply so don’t be too worried.

Congratulations on receiving your offer 🥳
Like what the others have mentioned, it might take a while to be reflected due to the sheer number of applicants the university has to process. So as long as you have added your course to your clearing courses and confirmed your offer, you should not need to worry 🤗

UCAS updates can take a few hours to 2 days after the uni sends the decision. If it’s been over 48 hours, call admissions to check they’ve sent it. If you are interested, you can also go through our clearing as well if you can have a look at our webpage- Clearing - Canterbury Christ Church University, or give a call to our clearing team on this number 01227926000

Have you heard anything more yet? It may take a while due to high numbers of applications, but if you're still worried I'd recommend reaching out to the university again to ask for a rough time estimate of when they expect this to be done.

Hi @Thamed congrats on your offer! I would say just be patient as systems may be slow in terms of sending out confirmation emails as there will be an influx of emails to send out to students. If you still have not received this confirmation then I would contact the University themselves to ask. I hope this helps and good luck with everything!😀
