A level math grades gone wrong

I was planning to apply to cambridge, imperial etc, but one of my A level math modules went really bad (p4) - I do international a level (edexcel), and I need an over 180 ums for p3 & p4 to get an A*. Given that my grades in school were pretty good, I think I can still get predicted an A* for A level further maths, but I have to use predicted grades for A level math as well when applying. Is it still possible for me to apply to good universities (my other exams went fine)?
First of all, your A Levels grades are amazing by any standard, so don’t be too hard on yourself. F you’re applying through UCAS, you’ll get 5 options. I’d recommend applying for 1 or 2 places that are in line with your predicted grades, 1 or 2 slightly above and 1 or 2 slightly below. Depending on the state of predicted grades across the country, it’s possible to get an offer that’s above what you’re predicted anyways. Best of luck!!
