Accommodation at Durham
Place accepted at Durham through Clearing - Accommodation is allocated rather than preferenced - will this mean the college allocated will not take into account any personal attributes ie Sporty/Arty/catered/self catered etc?

I don't think sporty or arty will come into it but you'd hope that catering would. If it's any consolation a lot of students got their 8th or 9th choice, so their preferences were pretty much ignored. But all the old Durham hands on here say you'll end up loving your college. Congratulations.
