A level aqa remark

I am one mark of an A in a level psych aqa. I’m getting a priority review of marks however i’m not sure whether to send all 3 papers or just one. If i only send one (eg. paper 1) if it comes back and it hasn’t changed, can i then send another paper (eg. paper 2) for standard review of marking. This should meet the dead line of 25th of sept, however idk if aqa allows this as i haven’t found any guidance online.

Hi there! (:

Unsure myself about the specific process but I'd recommend reaching out to your college or whoever you did your a-levels with to ask them about how to go about submitting, they will likely have done the process before and know how it works! 😊

Hi,

As far as I'm aware, you can send papers one at a time but I think it would probably be best to send them all if it's your plan to keep doing it until you get a grade change.

The only reason is, if you send a paper (i.e. paper 1) and there isn't a grade change, you will get charged for this. Then, if you send the next paper (i.e. paper 2) and there is a grade change you will not be charged for this one but will still be charged for paper 1. However, if you send them all at once and only one paper has a grade change, I don't think you get charged for any. Only downside is if none have a grade change, you'll get charged for all of them, so it's just thinking about whether you're sure you'll get that extra mark.

It's probably best to check with your college/sixth form just to check this though.

Get your school's head of psych to review your 3 papers to see which paper given you the best probability of getting that extra 1 point. It's too risky to send in all three as you might get that needed 1 point in one paper then, touch wood, 2 points reduction in other papers.

Play safe is my suggestion
