Ranmoor/Encliffe halls swap
Just had an email about accommodation and I’ve been allocated an en-suite room in Ranmoor but would prefer a room at Endcliffe. Is there a forum for room swaps?

Contact the accommodation team themselves, they can deal with it potentially.

Congratulations on getting into the University of Sheffield! If you did want to enquire about room swaps, as someone previously mentioned, it is best to get in contact directly with the accommodation team here.
I did have friends who were able to swap rooms but circumstances do change year on year. If you did have any other questions about the accommodation I am happy to answer as I stayed in Endcliffe myself in first year!

No unfortunately not. They said I had to decline my offer and then see what was available but it changed every minute so I could lose out. It was very frustrating as they could tell me there were rooms but wouldn’t change over. I’ve accepted even though it’s a much more expensive room in the wrong place!
