Manchester Metropolitan Uni Art Foundation Year

Just wondering if anyone knows what the timetable like is for mmu's art foundation course. Ive heard other foundation courses are three days a week and some are the full 5 days a week.

Hi @JediDestoyer

The Foundation Diploma in Art and Design course is studio based and you are required to be on campus each week on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 10am to 4.30pm. Friday is a self-directed study day and you will guided in how to utilise this time. All information about daily activities will be available on the course noticeboards where you sign in each day. Staff are always available for help during the taught studio days and the studios are accessible from 7.00am to 9.00pm.

Hope this helps. If you have any other questions feel free to ask them here or you can get in touch with our Course Enquiries team at [email protected] or on 0161 247 6969.

Hi @JediDestoyer

I'm so sorry I'm not too sure. My impression is it's mainly studio based. but you're welcome to contact the course academics who will be able to clarify. You can find their details on the course webpage here.

Hope this helps.

finally found someone else doing this course 💪💪💪 I managed to find the actual timetable earlier on the website. If you go to the welcome site and enter your student ID, then it’s under “your personal induction” at the bottom of the page

I just collected mine and they literally print it off there and then so urs should be ready
Please don't worry... you should be able to book a slot to collect your ID card via MyMMU. If not I'd suggest contacting our Student Hub - 0161 247 1000 - they'll be able to advise. If you visit the Student Hub in the Business School and there'll be loads of staff about to help.

Best of luck with your induction week.
Mel 🙂
