University of surrey accomodation

I am going to the university to study and start my course in September. However, I don't know many people there and was wondering if anyone is going and/or staying in the same accommodation as me. I am staying in the Scape accommodation in an en-suite room, as there was no other accommodation available, as I got my course through clearing and did not receive a student ID until late.

- Also, does anyone know what societies are popular there that always have many members?
