London Universities

Can someone advise which London Uni would be good for Accounts, Finance or Economics. Not looking at London school of Economics as I dont think I will get in there.

Also which London Uni has the best campus. has having a good environment is also important, such as close knit campus with good access and good accommodation, and everything nearby.

The idea is that you do all this sort of research.
It isnt difficult - all Unis have websites with detailed course descriptions, and all have Campus Tour films on YouTube.

Hi there,

The complete university guide is a really handy resource for getting some initial inspiration to start your research. This page is filtered to show the best performing London unis for Accounting and Finance - on TCUG you can not only filter by subject but also by region 🙂 - whilst league tables should not form a significant part of your decision, seeing the unis listed may help you get some ideas of where to look first.

From that list, perhaps look at their websites to check out what courses they offer and look at their contents. If you like what you see, then keep a record of them on a spreadsheet/word doc and see when their open days are. Visiting a place is a really valuable way to get a feel of the vibe of a place, meet some lecturers/students and see if you like the area. If you aren't able to get to them all, then defo look on YouTube for some video tours.

I hope this helps and best of luck with your decision-making!

Good accommodation at a reasonable priced does not exist for any London universities, not uncommon after 1st year to be paying close to £200 a week and have an hour travel on bus/tube.

Maybe better with an university that is an hour from central London by train.
