predicted grades

hey so i have to submit my applications to university in a few months and i got my predicted grades back from my subjects, which are most likely to go off to said universities. my current predicted grades are A*BB, which is great, BUT the course i desparately want to do at southampton is AAB. I know the ucas points are the same but i am terrified that they'll reject my offer due to this, and i dont think i can afford to move far away for uni, as my other backups wre reading and sussex, as i have a guaranteed spot in reading due to a scholars course i did. i feel silly for worrying about it too much but its been eating me up, especially as i feel like i could do so much better than a B in psychology. idk pls help haha

Predicted grades are just predicted grades. People may exceed a grade, get it exact, or do worse.

i get that, but don't universities want those exact grades? will i get rejected for being predicted a grade lower than expected?

You are quite likely to get an offer of AAB. If you accept it but don't reach it, then it's up to Southampton to decide whether to accept you anyway.
